It was the perfect venue for our family reunion

“We want to thank you for making the Compass Rose vacation home available to us. It was the perfect venue for our family reunion and facilitated a most wonderful and memorable gathering. It enabled the many members of our two extended families to meet – in many cases for the first time – and connect in a way we had never connected before, creating lasting bonds of fellowship for which I am greatly appreciative!

The facility was far more than we expected or imagined, and made possible an experience that everyone enjoyed and which otherwise could not have happened. In every way, it was beautiful, and perfect for us! Everyone was awed! I, in particular, am awed at the loving generosity of the owners – not only in creating the home in the first place, but in the love and creativity that went into furnishing it so beautifully and lavishly, and in their willingness to sharing it with strangers! What was so surprising and very perfect for us was to find it furnished with every recreational toy and housekeeping item we could possibly need! We never expected that!! Please convey our heartfelt thanks to them. We feel we received great value from them, and that it was worth every penny!”

"I thought I would sign the guest book on our first day rather than our last & see if my optimism might shine through without the bit of melancholy bound to be present later! Apparently we are the first renters [at Compass Rose] with Gudrun. I hope this next phase of the house's "life" goes well for everyone. Perusing the guest book confirms the source of this house's awesome energy. Lots of love, friendship, joy and peace. While these are more than enough, the site is beyond spectacular too. My only regret is that this is the first time I've ever remembered "coveting" something! It's a beautiful spot for beautiful moments. Thank you."
